Accessibility Reviews
Para NB provides formal reviews of sport and recreation facilities, parks, playgrounds, trails, beaches, schools, churches, and more to promote a truly inclusive environment for persons with a mobility disability. Our reviews use the most recent standards and meet or exceed all New Brunswick codes and regulations. We are the only disability organization that offers this service in the province of New Brunswick.
A detailed report with all findings and regulations, and possible funding sources to help fund any renovations or adaptations needed, is provided upon completion of a review.
We also provide design checklists for areas such as playgrounds/splashpads, sport and recreation facilities, accessible geocaching, accessible campgrounds and inclusive activities.
